The Westchester Community Foundation (WCF) (www.wcf-ny.org)  graciously awarded the Yonkers Philharmonic their Reimss grant of $15,000 to promote German Culture.  Their mission is to develop and manage philanthropic resources, and to distribute them in a way that is responsive to donor interest and community needs. The Foundation actively promotes charitable giving on behalf of the area’s nonprofit organizations. WCF is a division of the New York City Community Trust, one of the largest community foundations in the country with assets of approximately $2.6 billion.

We also want to thank the Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation and their president Peter Smith, Mayor Mike Spano, the City of Yonkers and the Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation for their support.

Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra Concerts  are made possible in part by ArtsWestchester with funds from the Westchester County Government, the Westchester County Board of Legislators and Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino.
