Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to be supported by ArtsWestchester and Westchester County Government.

Established in 1965 as the Council for the Arts in Westchester, we are New York State’s largest private, not-for-profit service organization, working to ensure the availability and accessibility of the arts for all of the county’s residents. In 1975, we were named by Westchester County government as the County’s designated arts council and we became one of several united arts funds in the country, providing grants and technical support to cultural organizations and artist residencies in the community.

ArtsWestchester gave the Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra an award for Community Service in 2012.

Thank you to all our funders who help keep the music playing…

The Westchester Community Foundation (WCF) (www.wcf-ny.org)  graciously awarded the Yonkers Philharmonic their Reimss grant of $15,000 to promote German Culture.  Their mission is to develop and manage philanthropic resources, and to distribute them in a way that is responsive to donor interest and community needs. The Foundation actively promotes charitable giving on behalf of the area’s nonprofit organizations. WCF is a division of the New York City Community Trust, one of the largest community foundations in the country with assets of approximately $2.6 billion.

YPO – sponsored by the Fine Arts Orchestral Society – is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit.  This concert is made possible by a generous grant from the Westchester Community Foundation, a division of The New York Community Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the country, with assets of approximately $2.6 billion. We would like to extend special thanks to the City of Yonkers – Department of Parks and Recreation. please visit www.YonkersPhilharmonic.org or call 571-310-7060

We also want to thank the Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation and their president Peter Smith, Mayor Mike Spano, the City of Yonkers and the Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation for their support.
